Second Chance Sunday

New Beginning.

New Identity.

New way of Life.

That’s the story and meaning of Easter.

The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the story of hope, joy and newness. That day in history changed everything! The great news? That day in history still changes everything for those who believe in the work that was done on that Roman cross all those years ago. Those who believe that the work was done on their behalf, that it counted for them.

It is our prayer that if you are in a season of despair, a season of pain, you are stuck in a stubborn sin or if you are just about to give up on your marriage or life, there is hope. The Sunday Christ rose from the dead offered every one of us a second chance. A chance to begin again. To live with a new identity, not as condemned but as forgiven. To live life as a new creation. To live life with greater purpose and passion. The cross of Christ represents a second chance for all who believe. We need this to be a reality in our lives and pray that you too would recognize and come to understand that God is a God of second chances.
