Ticket to “Ride”: Marriage Edition

ticket-to-rideSure, you’re probably familiar with the Beatles song, Ticket to Ride.  But have you played the Ticket the Ride board game, developed and released by Days of Wonder?  If not, you probably should.  It’s a great game for families and is considered one of the best board games currently on the market.

Anyway, we’ve had some fun enjoying Ticket to Ride both on the ipad and via the physical board game.  And after playing for a while, we thought it would be fun to post some new house rules for Ticket to Ride.  So if you don’t already own the game – go and get it.  For those who already own it, feel free to play by using the following 2 player marriage edition.

Ticket to Ride Variant: Marriage Edition

Complete a Route of 1-2 links: Kiss for 1-2 seconds

Complete a Route of 3-4 links: Kiss for 8-10 seconds

Complete a Route of 5-6 links: Kiss for 12-15 seconds

First Person to Complete a Ticket: Your Spouse Removes One Piece of Clothing (their choice)

First Person to Complete Two Tickets: Your Spouse Removes Two Pieces of Clothing (your choice)

First Person to Complete Three Tickets: Your Spouse Massages You for 10 Minutes

First Person to Complete Four Tickets: You Massage Your Spouse for 10 Minutes

First Person to Complete Five Tickets: Foreplay of Your Choice for 10 Minutes

First Person to Complete Six Tickets: This is Your Ticket to Ride.  You Choose the Position for what Happens Next.  The game can wait.

If nobody can complete five or six tickets, then the winner of the game chooses 10 minutes of foreplay and the position for what happens next.
